Budda Rai is from Panchthar, Nepal. He obtained his masters’ degree in Rural Development and Masters’ degree in Education from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has started his career in CWIN-Nepal from where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience related to child rights and child protection.
He is also a facilitator of Life Skills Education for adolescents. During his worked tenure he has visited many different communities across Nepal. He has very interested in child development protection work and youth entrepreneurship especially in rural communities.
Currently Buddha is working as the Field Co-ordinator of the ‘Helambu Youths Taking their Place Project’. This project aims to provide technical training, create market for local and traditional produce as well as setting up a youth led Co-operative.
